Q: Multiple Items to Purchase
I'm trying to purchase 4 of this item, but it won't let me.
A:
This will occur when you are trying to order more of the item than we have in stock. Our web site keeps track of an "inventory quantity", and will not let the customer order more than we have. Try adjusting your quantity ordered, if you can use less of the item than previously desired, and see if this helps.

Where are you located and what hours are you open?

We are located in Indiana. However, we sell online only. And that allows us to be open 24/7. Reaching us via telephone is best 10-5 thru the week at 317-861-1207.

Can I purchase by sending a check or money order?
A:
We did offer this feature. It is now discontinued. We found, we did not receive enough people wanting to pay this way. And now everyone has "check cards" with their checking accounts, so they could pay with a check by using their Visa or MasterCard "check card". It saves us alot of time having to "remind" folks to send their payments too!

How long till I get my light?
A:
Lighting is made to order. Please allow 6 weeks minimum. It will take longer during seasonal peak times. If you desire to have your light prior to a holiday event, be sure to order a good two months in advance to ensure delivery prior to your event. The closer we get to a holiday, the busier the lighting folks get!

We ship UPS or US Priority Mail. We also ship globally with either service.

How do I know my charge for shipping?
A:
The SHIPPING FEES page on the site, has shipping charts to see what you will be charged. This fee includes insurance. If the item is a large oversize box, or needs two boxes to ship, or if you are in a higher shipping zone (ie: CA, AZ, WA, etc) there will be additional shipping fees for only the added amount to get it to you. Global shipping will also incur extra shipping fees.

Not presently. Pick up of furniture is always welcomed.

99% is made here at the Farmhouse by my husband and myself.

We've been in retail since 1989 and have owned two different storefronts over the years. We now sell online only. We've been on the web, as Farmhouse Primitives, 7 + years.

A:
If you notice, when looking at the merchandise offered, you will see a "ship time" on most all items. If it says "immediate" the item is kept in stock. If it states a time frame, it often means, your item must be created to your specifications, such as color, etc..........we try to keep multiples in stock, but custom work is just that........."made to order". We work very hard to get our custom work out in approx. two weeks. This of course depends on the workload. You're always invited to inquire on order time.

No. Sorry. We do not keep any CC info on file. As soon as your order is processed, we delete the information from our site.
Q: Out of Stock Items
I need something that is out of stock. Can I get it?
A:
Many items can easily be requested. We take orders for items out of stock all the time. But, we do not take orders for items we are not going to restock, so please inquire. Items ordered in for a customer, must be paid for in advance, just as tho it is a special order, if you want to ensure delivery when it's back in stock.

We are so sorry but it is impossible to help everyone find something, unless it's something we stock. Our business keeps us busy and we can't search for items from other merchants for you.
Q: Can you feature my home?
I love to look at the homes on tour. Can my home be on there?

Absolutely! We do ask that it be in relation to our merchandise.......primitive or Colonial. And pictures must be submitted in .jpg format as well as resized for quick load times. We are ALWAYS looking for new homes to feature. And we gladly send you a "reward" for helping us find a new home.

Due to internet safety being a concern, we never disclose the location of the home featured.

We do not share your info with ANYONE! We do enewsletters each month, sometimes a couple of times a month. We also send out holiday greetings to our email list. These mail outs will contain info on new items, specials, special discounts, coupons, and fun things. If you purchase from us, you will be added automatically, but you may remove your name by following the links at the bottom of each newsletter, if you wish. When you sign up for the email newsletters, you will need to answer a confirmation email, or you will NOT be added to the list. Please forgive us for this added step, but this keeps us from getting a lot of "fake" emails signing up.

WE DO NOT WHOLESALE. This question is asked us a hundred times a week. No, we do not.

When do you do updates on the site?

Weekly, sometimes daily. If you scroll to the bottom of the splash/introduction page, under the newsletter sign up area, you will see a date.........this is changed when I update so you know there is something new somewhere on the site.

It happens very seldom. But if that does happen........I ALWAYS announce on the splash/introduction page, the dates that I will not be shipping. I will announce the times, when the orders will be processed. I have a laptop that travels with me in the event that I must be gone, so orders are processed and saved, just not packed till I return home.
